When skater Nadia stepped onto the ice at SSJ, every detail of her performance told a story and her custom Sleek Edge dress was part of it. Designed to celebrate confidence, artistry, and movement, her look just sparkled under the rink lights
The Design Concept
This one-of-a-kind piece began as a vision of strength and grace. The cerise pink bodice fades into a purple ombré waist, blending beautifully into a royal blue skirt, a colour transition that mirrors the flow of a routine from power to poise. The open-back design with delicate straps adds elegance and allows full freedom of movement.
Every crystal placement was deliberate: gold stones catch the light at every spin and jump, bringing warmth and richness to the ice. The result is a dress that feels regal, bold, and utterly Sleek Edge.
The Making Process
From the first sketch to the final airbrushed fade, each step was crafted with precision. We used quality, high-stretch fabrics to move effortlessly with Nadias performance. During the airbrushing stage, gradients were hand-built layer by layer for a seamless transition of colour. Once complete, thousands of crystals were applied for maximum brilliance under the ice rink lights. And did we mention the soft buttery lining that is in all of our skate dresses?
