Every Sleek Edge dress is individually designed and handcrafted to reflect your personality, performance and style on the ice.

The £50 Design Package secures your place in my design schedule and covers the creative work involved in developing your bespoke dress before production begins.

Unlike an off-the-shelf dress, every design starts from a blank page. Your ideas, colours and inspirations are transformed into an original concept created exclusively for you.

Once you've purchased your Design Package, you'll receive immediate access to your Design Questionnaire. After reviewing your completed questionnaire, We will begin designing your dress and prepare your personalised quotation.

Understanding Your Investment

The £50 Design Package covers the professional design and planning stage.

Once your design has been completed, you'll receive a quotation for your dress based on the complexity of the design, fabrics, embellishments and construction required.

Most custom competition dresses begin from approximately £300, with final prices varying depending on your chosen design and level of embellishment.

• Total Investment – from £350

If your chosen features exceed your preferred investment range, we will suggest alternative design options to achieve a similar overall look or provide an updated quotation. No production will begin until you're completely happy with both the design and the price.

Your Bespoke Dress Journey

Step 1 – Reserve Your Design Package

Purchase your Design Package to secure your place in my design schedule.

Step 2 – Complete Your Design Questionnaire

You'll receive an email immediately after purchase containing a link to your private Design Questionnaire. This helps me understand your skating level, inspiration, preferred colours, budget and style before creating your design.

Step 3 – Design Consultation & Measurements

I'll review your questionnaire before arranging measurements, either in person at Sleek Edge (Sheffield) or via Zoom if you're further away.

Step 4 – Receive Your Bespoke Design

You'll receive your original dress concept together with your personalised quotation. I'll always aim to design within your preferred investment range where possible.

Step 5 – Approve Your Design

Once you're happy with the design, fabrics and quotation, a 50% deposit is required before production begins.

This deposit covers pattern development, fabrics, elastics, threads, crystals and other materials required to create your dress.

The Making Process

Your dress is individually handcrafted from start to finish.

During production you'll receive regular photographs and videos so you can watch your dress come to life.

Production typically takes 6–8 weeks, although larger team orders or particularly intricate designs may require longer. Rush orders may be available subject to capacity and will incur an additional fee.

Where appropriate, I offer an additional fitting before embellishments are added to ensure the perfect fit before the finishing details are completed.

Completion

Once your dress has been completed, you'll receive final photographs and videos before the remaining balance is invoiced.

After payment has been received, your dress will be carefully packaged and either:

• Shipped via Royal Mail Tracked & Signed

or

• Collected from Sleek Edge by appointment.

• Every Sleek Edge dress is an original design created exclusively for each customer.

• I do not copy or reproduce other designers' work.

• Inspiration images are always welcome and are used to understand your preferred style, colours and overall aesthetic rather than to replicate another designer's creation.

• All original designs remain the intellectual property of Sleek Edge.
